We completed a project for Skuld at The Gherkin — one of London’s most iconic office buildings.
The brief was to create a workspace that felt calm, cohesive and contemporary, using planting to add warmth and texture without overpowering the clean, architectural design.
One of the key challenges was balancing Skuld’s strong brand identity — particularly their signature red — with a more neutral interior palette, as well as working within the constraints of a landmark building.
Our solution was a carefully curated, layered planting scheme. This included end-of-desk planters to subtly zone the space, a statement green wall framed with timber panelling, and a central circular planter to anchor the breakout area. We also introduced our new planter range, incorporating touches of red within the foliage to tie everything back to the brand.
The result is a refined, design-led workspace that feels both natural and considered, while remaining completely low maintenance.
